Lily Cole has sent the rumour mill into a spin after stepping out wearing an engagement ring on her finger.

The supermodel was spotted in Primrose Hill in London over the weekend, flashing a gold ring on her wedding finger, and with her beau, American actor Enrique Murciano on her arm.

The pair has been inseparable since they got together last year and even attended Salma Hayek’s wedding celebrations together in Venice last month.

Despite Lily’s tender age (21) and her commitment to a three-year History of Art degree at Cambridge University, the model is reportedly smitten by the 35-year-old Without A Trace star, so wedding bells wouldn't be a great surprise for the whirlwind romance.

Seen pounding the pavements together in the hot summer sunshine, Lily looked her ethereal self in a long nude, chiffon summer dress, teamed with gladiator sandals and an oversized cream jacket.
