Katie Price agrees to 'quickie' divorce

Katie Price and Peter Andre are going full speed ahead and aiming for a ‘quickie’ divorce, according to a source close to the glamour model.

Despite rumours flying that the whole incident is simply a publicity stunt, the reality TV couple are set for a record speed divorce, after Katie has reportedly ‘given up the fight’.

The mother-of-three hit the catwalk at last week’s Clothes Show Live and despite working it for the cameras, is apparently feeling the pressure from recent events, admitting backstage at the style event she felt ‘sh** and ugly’. ‘I haven’t felt this low in ages,’ she said.

One source who spoke to the News of the World this weekend revealed the strain Katie is under saying: ‘It’s sad, but she’s given up the fight.

‘She now accepts she's never getting Peter back, and is ready to move on with her life. It hasn't been easy, but she knows it's necessary to enable her to eventually get on with things.'

Divorce proceedings are already in full swing with both Peter and Katie meeting with divorce lawyers last week. Katie has signed up top divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton (who represented Sir Paul McCartney and Madonna in their divorce cases) to fight her corner.

Meanwhile, Peter is reportedly applying for a decree nisi with the understanding that he will cite ‘unreasonable behaviour’ as the cause for the split.

While the situation is taking its toll on the glamour model, Peter too is buckling under the pressure. ‘I’ve never seen him like this before. He’s a mess,’ said one source after Peter met with lawyers last week. ‘He came out afterwards and just broke down. It was the realisation that his family life is never going to be the same.’

What's up with her big hole where her tummy should be??? What is thattttt???? I've never seen such a stomach on a human being, not even starved people in Africa??? What is she doing to her body??? She had a lovely compassionate man in Peter and she threw her chances away - how can another man love her??? All you men out there - you have been warned.

she looks like she's starving!!!! give the kids to pete for gods sake, if she cant look after herself, how she going to manage with them? though i am very sorry for her and him, i think under the ego's, they really loved each other, but im really very sorry for the children.

i dont what is wrong with what kate had done she had a good night out got a bit worse for wear if pete really wanted to bee with her and the kids why is he not tryig harder he says he loves her no matter what.I think he could not take it cause kate was more famouse than him and she is a brill mum and she would never give up her kids she has brought up harvey long before pete come on the secene and did a great job u go girl he is the one that has lost out not you the lovley compassionate man always had a dig on what she did to make her a lovely person i know they look a great couple but there is more to this divorce than what is being told good luck katie you will pull through this.
