Tess Daly welcomes baby girl

Tess Daly has given birth to her second daughter, it has been confirmed.

The Strictly Come Dancing presenter welcomed little Amber Isabella in a London hospital yesterday afternoon.

The couple's second daughter – they already have four-year-old Phoebe – weighed in at 7lb 15oz.

Vernon yesterday told the Sunday Mirror: 'She is absolutely beautiful and I am thrilled.'

Tess had Phoebe by caesarean section, and Vernon recently spoke of her wish to give birth to Amber naturally.

He said: 'We're both really excited about the little 'un.

'Tess is determined to have a natural birth after having a caesarean last time. We've got all the books and looked at lots of pictures of ladies squatting.'

And he also had some kind words for his gorgeous wife.

'She's the best-looking pregnant woman in the world. Her skin is so beautiful right now and everything's gone great so far.'
