Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman to star on Broadway
It appears that Christmas has come early following confirmation that two of Hollywood's hottest heartthrobs are set to star in a new Broadway show.
Daniel Craig, a.k.a James Bond, and Hugh Jackman, best known as X Man Wolverine, are teaming up for the play A Steady Rain, written by Keith Huff.
The play, which is produced by James Bond's Barbara Broccoli, is a two-character drama about two Chicago policemen. Their lifelong friendship is pushed to the limits when they become embroiled in a domestic dispute in a tough neighbourhood.
Having only previously performed small parts on the London stage, 007 star Craig will be making his Broadway debut.
Jackman however, who is currently starring in the fourth instalment of the X men franchise X Men Origins: Wolverine, is a seasoned pro.
The Aussie actor trod the boards in New York five years ago in the musical The Boy from Oz, subsequently winning a Tony Award for his role.
Now with Craig on board this time too, we're sure it'll be one box office smash!
A Steady Rain is set to hit the New York stage in the autumn.
