Katie Price calls in locksmiths

Anyone who thought the Katie Price and Peter Andre split was a publicity stunt, you have been silenced, after the glamour model called in the locksmiths to her Surrey mansion yesterday, well and truly putting a halt to Andre stepping over the threshold.

It isn’t confirmed whether Price has officially changed the locks on the pad the couple shared together, but a locksmiths' van was spotted entering the driveway and whatever the story, it doesn’t look good for estranged husband Andre.

The first blow came last week when the glamour model had all of Andre’s belongings removed from their country pad.

In response, Peter began official divorce proceedings and Katie Price was photographed this week attending a meeting with her lawyer, the renowned Fiona Shackleton (who acted for Paul McCartney in his divorce battle against Heather Mills).

The mud slinging is now in full swing between the reality TV couple after Katie Twittered yesterday, accusing Peter of courting publicity by posing with the couple’s children for waiting paparazzi.

She Tweeted: ‘Mmmm, I smell set-up pictures.’

A spokesman for Peter responded by releasing a statement reading: ‘Pete has been determined to maintain a dignified silence over his private life.’

The plot thickened yesterday when news broke that Katie is set to be questioned by police after her ex-boyfriend, Dane Bowers, named the model as his alibi after he was detained by police for alleged drink driving when his Vauxhall Tigra car was found crashed in a hedge at 4am outside Katie’s mansion.

The ex-boyband member claims he could not have been driving the car as he was inside Katie’s home drinking and claims the car was stolen.

According to reports from The Sun, Peter is fuming that his wife and Bowers were even together at all, with one source revealing: ‘To say Peter is angry is an understatement.’

Katie and Bowers dated for two years, in which time they made a homemade porn video which was leaked to the press.

Thirty-one-year-old Price was set to give a warts and all interview to Jonathan Ross for his chat show which airs tomorrow night. However, the savvy business woman has pulled out of the appearance, leaving Ross in the lurch.

No-one will be intersted in either of them once this is all over- thats not to say I dont feel terrible for Peter he seems lovely and she has no talent and just got lucky.
