Jade Goody’s widower, Jack Tweed, has set his sights on the small screen.

London-born Tweed is lining up a career in TV after his release from prison, according to new reports.

‘Jack’s profile is pretty huge so he’s looking at how to make the most of that,’ revealed a close pal to The Sun.

Tweed is currently serving out a 12-week sentence after assaulting taxi driver Stephen Wilkins last May. However, he is hoping to be released at the end of the month to finally pursue his TV ambitions.

Representatives of the jailbird have been in talks with several television producers. It is thought that half a dozen possible projects have been discussed.

A number of people want Jack to take on projects that centre on Jade’s life. And while he is considering these, Jack is also interested in presenting, as well as DJing.

Tweed is no stranger to the world of television. He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother with Jade and then later on the reality TV star’s Living documentary – which followed her battle with cervical cancer.

I find the idea of Jack pursuing any type of career which involves 'talking' highly unsuitable.
He is incredibly shy and inarticulate. He hardly spoke at all throughout the Celebrity Big Brother series and was very much a background figure on the Living series.
Clearly a man with ambitions far greater than any perceivable talent.

He's barely smart enough to watch television never mind appear on it. Unfortunately I saw this coming a mile off.
