She may have one of the world's most envied wardrobes, but Beyoncé Knowles has revealed she's far from fashion obsessed.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the singer revealed that she may be a best-dressed list staple, but style isn't a big factor in her life.

'I don't know if I'm fashion obsessed,' she explained, 'I think when I’m working, yes, but when I’m at home I usually wear the same thing every day.'

So what is Mrs Jay Z's down-time look, 'I have my straight-leg jeans and a pair of Christian Louboutins and a little jacket and a white shirt.'

As for those ubiquitous It-bags, the star revealed she's not short of the odd freebie, 'I get sent about 15 designer bags a month. I can only imagine how much they cost.'

And though she may be an inspiration to women around the world, Beyoncé revealed that she has some seriously high-profile icons of her own - Barack and Michelle Obama.

Speaking on her performance of the inauguration ball, Knowles described meeting the first couple.

'Barack's just a very special person and he was born to do what he does, and his wife Michelle was born to do what she does – she holds him down,' she explained.

'It was very exciting for me to meet her as well. She's so warm. Both of them are. She's a huge inspiration for me. When we met at the big inauguration performance Michelle was there talking to everyone, and she looks you right in the eyes. To see how gracious they are reminds me of how I’m supposed to be.'
