Bette Midler’s love life advice to Jennifer Aniston

Bette Midler has dished out valuable words of advice to Jennifer Aniston... on her love life.

The 63-year-old love guru, who is currently wowing the crowds of Las Vegas with her The Showgirl Must Go On performances, told People magazine that she had just the thing for unlucky-in-love Aniston.

‘I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who’s going to give her a run for her money.’

Can you enlighten us further Bette? ‘She should find somebody who is really hot, who's not in show business. Somebody with a lot of money, and she should live the large life and forget about these a--holes. She's a great girl. She's got everything going for her.’

Easier said than done. Not one to hold back, Midler continued her tirade, telling the ex-Friends star that she had had high hopes for her romance with Vince Vaughn when the pair dated from 2005-2006.

‘I actually thought Vince Vaughn was great,’ she said. ‘He's hilarious, he's good-looking. I mean, I thought he had it all.’ However, Midler did add that her words were merely speculation, saying: ‘I don't really know them, but I like them, I like to watch them, I enjoy them.’

Amazingly, the actress kept schtum about Aniston’s last romance with philanderer John Mayer, who the Break-Up star parted company with earlier this year after his reported obsession with Twitter.

‘Well, he's a good-looking guy,’ Midler said of the musician. I've got to say, I watched it for a while, but I have no opinion. I just read a few of the blogs.’
