Rihanna hits back at Brown

Marie Claire celebrity news: Rihanna and Chris Brown

After keeping a dignified silence on her alleged assault, has Rihanna finally found a way to hit back at Chris Brown?

Kanye West posted a demo of a new track from the Umbrella songstress on his blog this week, entitled Silly Boy, about a girl who won't take her boyfriend back after he treats her badly.

Rihanna sings, 'Silly boy get outta here, I don't want you any more, the only thing I want from you is to stay away.'

Prompting rumours that the track could offer a hint to the singer's feelings, the song continues, 'I said I'm not coming back, you fooled me once but you can't have that ego turning.

'Just too bad for you, that when you had me, didn't know what to do, she's over you. Cause you had a good girl, good girl, girl. That's a keeper. You had a good girl, good girl but didn't know how to treat her.'

Rihanna's hit album is entitled Good Girl Gone Bad, leading to speculation that she is the good girl in question that the song refers to.

Chris Brown was charged with assaulting Rihanna on 8 February. He has pleaded not guilty.

The Barbados-born songstress is yet to comment on the incident, but was rumoured to have briefly reunited with Brown following the alleged attack. It is now believed that their relationship is over.

This week Brown was forced to deny that he had leaked nude photos of Rihanna, after a series of images hit the internet, allegedly showing the singer naked.
