Oprah to host World's Got Talent special

Oprah is set to host a global talent show called World's Got Talent, which will feature our very own Susan Boyle and string quartet group Escala.

Simon Cowell will also make an appearance on the show, along with 40 acts from a host of talent series around the world.

A source told The Sun: 'Oprah is a huge fan of the Got Talent idea so she wanted to do something special.

'She is friends with Simon so thought it would be great to have him on with some of the best acts from around the world.

'It’s a massive springboard for Escala and Susan.'

It's not the first time Simon has employed Oprah's help in promoting his acts. He famously made Leona Lewis an instant name in America by showcasing her talent on the chat show queen's sofa.

The special one-off show will air in the US on Monday and later in the UK on digital channel Diva.

I've just heard that "Signature", last years runners up for Britains Got Talent will also performing at the show.

It was all done last minute as there were delays with the Visa applications - They flew in from Belfast yesterday morning from the Fashion week only to hear the needed to get on the next availale flight to Chicargo.
