WATCH Letterman heal Jen Garner's wounds

Poor old Jennifer Garner was in a right state when she appeared on David Letterman's chat show earlier this week, sporting scabs and bruises on both her knees and elbows after a rather embarrassing running accident.

'I wasn't even making an action movie or anything,' joked the mother-of-two.

'If you do it when you're making an action movie, you feel cool. When you do it when you're just running on a beautiful day in front of a lot of people, you don't feel so cool. You think you're anonymous and suddenly everyone's like, "Jen Garner just fell down! Jennifer, do you need help?!'"

However, kind-hearted David offered to heal her wounds and got started right in front of the cameras.
