Intimate Carla Bruni photos stolen

Hundreds of 'highly intimate' photographs and videos of Carla Bruni and her former lover have been stolen in a burglary.

The images of Carla – who is currently on an official trip with her husband, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, in Spain – date from her affair with philosopher Raphael Enthoven.

Theives stole them from his brother, Julien Enthoven's, Paris flat, where the articles were being kept.

Police are believed to fear the images could embarrass the President and his First Lady by surfacing on the net, or by being sold for a large sum to the highest bidder.

A source told the Daily Mail: 'The thieves appeared to know exactly what they were looking for, taking highly intimate prints, a camera full of further images, videos, and numerous computer files.

'They broke into Mr Enthoven's flat in Rue Dauphine, in the sixth arrondissement, on Sunday night, smashing a window in the sitting room which looks out on to the courtyard.

'Nobody was at home at the time, and nothing else was taken.'

Raphael is the father of Carla's eight-year-old son, Aurelien.

The former couple caused controversy when they struck up an affair as Bruni had been living with Enthoven's father, the Paris philosopher Jean-Paul, in the late 1990s before leaving him for his married elder son.

Raphael's ex-wife, the author Justine Levy, never forgave her, portraying Carla in a book as a 'husband stealer' with a 'terminator smile'.

Nicolas and Carla arrived in Spain the day after the raid and have so far not commented on the incident.

I don't think this woman deserves to be a first lady...in fact I can't even call her A LADY at all! She has no moral values whatsoever!
She betrayed a trust of that family by not only cheating on her first lover with his son but by breaking son's marriage for her own pleasure!
