Renée Zellweger turned 40 this weekend, and celebrated with a star-studded bash in New York City.

With Hugh Grant and Jon Bon Jovi in attendance at the Core Club, not to mention fashion designer Tory Burch, TV presenter Kelly Ripa and even Harry Connick Jr on hand to serenade the birthday girl, you'd have thought all attention would have been focused on Ms Zellweger.

Well, if you want to be the star of the night, best not to invite Madonna. According to the New York Post, her dirty dancing with boyfriend Jesus Luz, had everyone talking.
