Jennifer Aniston has been spotted locking lips with a new man. So, has the star shaken off her toy boy ex, John Mayer, in favour of a more mature man?

We did hope so on seeing this picture, but sadly Jen was simply caught in the act on set, filming her latest movie with co-star Jason Bateman.

The pair got up close and personal for forthcoming film The Baster in New York yesterday, which sees Aniston’s character hunt out a suitable sperm donor, only to have a friend (Bateman) swap the anonymous sample with his own, as he has fallen in love with her. A male bunny boiler? Who would have thought!

Aniston’s latest role has prompted speculation over how close her character’s life is to her real-life persona. The ex-Friends star has weathered myriad make-ups and break-ups with singer/songwriter John Mayer in the last twelve months and her unlucky-in-love history has been well-documented.

Recent rumours surfaced of a potential love-in with Brit actor Gerard Butler, but of course, America’s sweetheart has remained tight-lipped on the whole affair.
