Susan Boyle has stunned fans by getting rid of her wiry grey hair – and replacing it with a glamorous new brunette shade.

The singing sensation, who's been catapulted into international limelight after her golden voice reduced hundreds to tears on Britain's Got Talent, was told not to get a makeover by studio bosses.

But the 'Hairy Angel' – as she was dubbed by the press – is hairy no more after getting her brows trimmed at a local salon near her home in Blackburn.

The 48-year-old - who melted Demi Moore's heart and has racked up over 100 million youtube hits - has also ditched her grey hair in favour of a more flattering chestnut colour.

But a neighbour says she won't be going all Hollywood.

'She has a wonderful talent — but it’s fabulous to see that she’s still so down-to-earth,' the source told The Sun.

'She just had a wee makeover. She’ll never go all Hollywood on us.'

Well what a difference Susan (my daughter's name as well) you look 10 years younger.
- but couldn't the photographer have taken her picture in a nicer place than with the wheelie bin behind!

I liked her eye brows, they made her look so cute and innocent. I never understood the fuss people make about eye brows.

If Susan's talent is enabling her to get the help to make herself more as she would like to look, then good for her. Whatever she looks like, the talent will shine out anyway. :-)

She looks great, but it didn't matter as she was great from the inside out. don't lose her rosy, healthy looking complexion. she is amazing. What an inspiration to so many and such confidance.
