Rihanna and Chris Brown back together?

Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together – and will be making their first public appearance together tonight, say US reports.

The couple, who reportedly split after an alleged violent row on the night of the Grammys, have been spending 'quite a few nights' together under the same roof, according to a friend of the Umbrella star.

The source told the Chicago Sun Times: 'Unfortunately, Rihanna still wants him and has said to us all, "Get over yourselves. I’m with him, so deal with it."'

But other US publications are adamant the relationship is off, suggesting the pair are actually dating other people.

Either way, Rihanna and Chris are set for a public reunion in Hollywood at a bash in honour of songwriter Andre Merritt, who's penned tracks for both the stars.

It will be the first time the performers have been seen together since their Miami meeting last month, set up to discuss the alleged assault.

Chris Brown has since pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and making criminal threats, and is due back in court on 29 April.

I think that it is great that they back together i was wonderinng when they were going to reconcille.

I'm happy for them! It's her choice if she wants to be with him or not. If you're a true fan you'd support them both anyway. Noone knows what really happened but them so they should be left alone.

I loved it whenever I seened them together, because it looked like they make each other happy. I hope they both deal with their problems, and work them out together....which sounds like what they are doing!! Good for them!!! Go Rih and Chris!!!!

Oh come on, how can you be happy that she's going back to a man that ABUSED her? I know we don't know the full story, but those bruises and cuts didn't get there by themselves.
