John Mayer admits snogging Perez Hilton

There have been many reasons put forward for Jennifer Aniston’s break-up with ex John Mayer, but this could be one of the weirdest.

John has admitted that he snogged celebrity blogger Perez Hilton two years ago, while he was thinking about 'going gay'.

Perez has always claimed this story was true and now it seems John has decided to come clean.

On New Year’s Eve 2006, John bumped into Perez at a nightclub and the two began a five-minute long kiss.

'He has to go tell people that I made out with him at a club. I never said anything, but you know what? Damn right I made out with him at a club,’ says John.

Jen’s ex made the admission during his Mayercraft Concert Cruise this weekend, a five-day cruise featuring sets from John and other singers.

John continues, 'I was thinking about going gay. Every man has thought about going gay. It’s usually like 2:23 in the morning you wake up. ‘Oh God, interesting!’ We seem to leave out the details, don’t we guys?'

Perez responded to John’s admission in typical style on his blog.

He wrote, 'We told all y'all b*tches it was true! And, yes, there was tongue. Lots of it! P.S. John Mayer is so clearly obsessed with Perez. How cute!’

Jennifer and John split up in March this year, amid rumours that he wasn't ready to settle down and she was annoyed with his constant posting on Twitter!

But perhaps the real reason behind the break-up has now been revealed. Still, at least it wasn’t for another woman, eh Jen?!
