Liam Neeson returns to work

Liam Neeson this week returned to work for the first time since the tragic death of his wife Natasha Richardson.

According to the NY Post, A-list actor Neeson was seen sitting alone at the bar of the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto, where he's filming Chloe with Julianne Moore.

'It was so sad,' one source told the paper. 'He looked like he was in an Edward Hopper print.'

A rep for Neeson said the actor did return to work and 'completed the movie'.

Natasha's sister, Joely Richardson, is also channelling her grief into work, and recently went back to the London set of her latest project, the BBC’s adaptation of John Wyndham’s 1951 post-apocalyptic novel The Day of the Triffids, in which she co-stars with Dougray Scott.

The actress put on a brave face yesterday as she filmed scenes on a deserted Westminster Bridge with the Scottish actor.

Natasha died on 18 March 2009 after a skiing accident in Montreal left her brain dead.
