How to get into ...

Bond is bad for your health!

Daniel Craig, celebrity news, Marie Claire

If you’ve ever fancied being a Bond girl (and who hasn’t wanted to get close to latest incarnation Daniel Craig?), we’d rethink those plans.

Nearly one third of 007’s female sidekicks have died since James Bond was given his licence to kill – and the number is increasing dramatically!

A none-too-scientific survey carried out by The Times reveals that 16 of Bond’s 51 lovers in the film franchise have come to a nasty end.

From Jill Masterson in Goldfinger – who died from being covered in gold paint – to Gemma Arterton in Quantum of Solace, who died in a copy-cat killing after being covered in crude oil, Bond girls risk their lives when they hop between the sheets with the British spy.

The survey found although many Bond girls survive, the nature of their deaths has become increasingly horrific.

Daniel Craig, the latest actor to fill 007’s shoes, was revealed to be the most deadly Bond as ALL his sexual partners have met their fate.

However, Olga Kurylenko, Bond’s ally in Quantum, survives – possibly because she never sleeps with the superspy.

Olga herself says Bond would make a terrible boyfriend.

‘He'd be a giant pain in the backside to go out with – his personality would drive me nuts after a few days. Bond is too dangerous and untrustworthy to get close to,’ she told You magazine.

But one look at Daniel - even in that cardie - makes us think it’s a risk worth taking!
