Rihanna to star in The Bodyguard remake?

Rihanna is bouncing back from her public row with Chris Brown, and reportedly focusing on a new career in movies. First up? A role in a remake of Whitney Houston’s The Bodyguard.

Legendary singer Whitney made the move into films in the 1992 smash hit, in which she starred opposite Kevin Costner, who played the title role.

And now Rihanna is reportedly being lined-up to play the lead in a ‘younger and sexier’ take on the movie.

Whitney also had some pearls of wisdom for the young pop star, telling her not to ‘make the same mistakes’ she did in her tumultuous marriage to Bobby Brown, after the 21-year-old was allegedly hit by her boyfriend Chris Brown.
