Geri breaks off engagement

Geri Halliwell has called off her engagement to Italian tycoon Fabrizio Politi – just three months after they announced they were to wed.

The pair enjoyed a whirlwind romance after meeting in December 2008, with Politi proposing at Christmas.

But the engagement as come to an abrupt end after Geri woke up last week realising she ‘wasn’t the marrying type’.

A source told The Sun: ‘She loved being in a relationship but decided all she needs is her daughter Bluebell to keep her happy.

‘Fabrizio is upset but totally respects Geri’s wishes.

‘Her friends are not surprised – Geri has a track record of getting cold feet.’

Politi, who runs a luxury yacht building company in Pisa, met Geri in a nightclub in Florence.

Meanwhile, as Geri announces her love split, fellow Spice Girl Mel C couldn't be happier as she poses in her first public photo with newborn daughter Scarlet Starr.

Who cares??? I feel sorry for Bluebell, what a hypo mother!!!Geri uses men for her own satisfaction - she doesn't respect them - it stems from her own father who I believe was much older than her mother and used to take her to auditions. It certainly left her vulnerable to men and she just doesn't trust them - maybe she thinks all men are after her money!!! Which goes to show, money doesn't make you happy!!!!
