Rihanna & Chris back together
By Ruth Doherty on Monday 2 March 2009
Rihanna and Chris Brown have reportedly got back together – three weeks after Chris allegedly assaulted the pop star.
The couple have been spotted on a band-aid break in Miami, where they've been 'working on their relationship'.
'They're together again. They care for each other,' a source told People magazine.
The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' luxury homes, on Miami Beach's Star Island.
The source continued: 'While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.'
Brown reportedly contacted the star on her 21st birthday last week.
'He called to wish her happy birthday,' said the source. 'They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual.'
Brown was arrested by the LAPD for making criminal threats on 8 February 2009, just hours before the couple were scheduled to perform at the Grammys.
The case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will decide which charges, if any, will be prosecuted.

What type of message is this to victims of domestic abuse, They are both role models and this is a bad move

This has nothing to do with anyone else apart from them. Surely being famous shouldn't mean that having a private life becomes impossible. If she wants to get back with him, kick him, forgive him etc, its hers and his business, absolutely no one elses.

Am sorry, the minute a man raise his hands to a woman it is just plain wrong. And, when you ask them why they would go back, is because they "LOVE THEM". I agree with Katelynn, he will do it again.

Is she for real. I am fortunate I have never had a man be violent to me. but I have a lot of friends who have and they never just do it once it happens again and again.

Lets hope we are not reading her obituary after they 'work on their relationship.' Terrible message to both men and women in these situations..

Well said Ginny. Everyone is allowed an opinion but only when you know the people involved. And as none of us personally know Rihanna and Chris who are we to say whether this is a right or wrong move. I agree that when a man puts his hands on a woman then he will continue to do so until he is stopped or it goes TOO far...then it's too late. Bur we know nothing about these two people...we can have a general opinion but not a personal one that makes us feel that we has the right to judge people that we do not know.
