Princess Beatrice makes movie debut

This is the first photo of Princess Beatrice making her movie debut on the big screen.

The Princess plays a lady-in-waiting in The Young Victoria - but blink and you'll miss it.

A film insider said: 'It has been cut, as is the case with a lot of smaller parts. It’s all a bit blink-and-you’ll-miss-it. She goes past very quickly.'

Despite the small, non-speaking part, the Princess adored the whole experience; she said: 'It was tiring and I was freezing cold but I absolutely loved it. I am so excited about it.'

The film is out on 6 March and tells the tale of Queen Victoria.

As well as Princess Bea's fleeting cameo, the film stars Emily Blunt as Victoria and Keira Knightley's boyfriend, Rupert Friend, as Prince Albert.
