A glowing Jennifer Aniston hit the Oscars red carpet with beau John Mayer – and revealed she's 'very happy' with him.

The loved-up pair looked super-cute as they chatted to Gayle King backstage, with Mayer, 31, telling King he grew up watching her as a local news anchor in their native Connecticut.

'It's always good when someone says they grew up watching you,' King says, to which Aniston joked: 'He said that to me, too!'

King asked: 'Can I say it's good to see you two out together publicly?'

'Sure, yeah' replied Aniston.

Mayer piped in: 'This is the first time I've ever walked the red carpet with someone.'

'I think that's big,' said King. 'Are you both happy?'

'Very happy,' replied Aniston, before making a quick escape in an attempt to avoid any more personal questions!

They certainly make a picture-perfect pairing.
