Slumdog Millionaire stars dating?

Freida Pinto and Dev Patel are dating in real-life. Well, that’s what their Slumdog Millionaire co-star Anil Kapoor reckons, anyway.

Straight-talking Bollywood star Kapoor has fuelled rumours of a romance by stating the pair have a ‘magical chemistry’.

But he goes even further than that, saying: ‘As a matter of fact, when I meet them, I feel there is something happening.’

But neither Pinto nor Patel will admit there’s something going on.

When romance rumours are put to Pinto, Kapoor reveals she says: "I have to look after him” and “I have to baby sit him” and that kind of stuff… But [I think] this is the beginning of something exciting happening.’

Kapoor made his revelations while chatting to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM Morning Show in America.

And to further fan the flames, Pinto and Patel were recently seen feeding each other Oreo cheesecake at a bakery in Los Angeles.

Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Brit Danny Boyle, has become a global smash hit, and follows the story of a boy from a Mumbai slum who beats the odds to win the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Kapoor, 49, plays the show's host.

The movie bagged seven Bafta awards and has been nominated for a whopping 10 Oscars.
