Lily Allen and Perez Hilton have embarked on a vicious war of words on the new celebrity-favoured blogging website Twitter.

The feuding singer and the gossip queen made their on-going slanging match public as they went head-to-head in a bitchy name-calling session in front of millions of users.

Their argument first started last year when Hilton accused Allen of smoking while pregnant.

Among the insults were ‘cheap ass whore’ (15-love Lily) and ‘fat c***’ (15-all).

Hilton also taunted the ‘f****d up Brit’ to cast him in her next video.

Quick-witted Lily immediately responded to his Twitter, saying: Oh, I'm sorry, we've already cast the jealous and bitter lonely old queen role. Next time eh?'

Hilton responded by attacking Allen's US-favoured album It's Not Me, It's You, ranting: 'Jealous of who? David Beckham, maybe. And if I wanted to be a f***** up Brit, I'd rather be Amy Winehouse – who's got talent.’

Allen hit back, writing: 'God, you're like so obsessed with me it’s embarrassing.’

Targeting her US success, Hilton swiped: 'Congrats on your album doing well in America, though. It's REALLY HARD to sell copies when u discount it to $3.99. Desperate!'

Allen shot him down with: 'It's also number one everywhere else in the world douchebag. Go away you little parasite.'

In a final blow Hilton fired: 'Aw, u can see I've lost weight! I am a littler Perez. But I'm still a big fat c*** – just like U! That's why I love ya. Xoxo'

‘PS. Thanks for advertising on my website. I'll take your money (or the label's) anytime!'

Allen then pleaded for Perez to evaporate, before blocking him, typing: 'I know you will, and that's what makes you a cheap ass whore. Now leave me alone, stop following me, I'm working. Bye x x'

Unable to help himself in one last jibe, Perez, real name Mario Lavandeira, finished: 'It's not fair and I think you're really mean! You're supposed to care! It's not fair and it's really not ok.’
