Johansson to replace Emily Blunt in Iron Man 2?

By Ruth Doherty  on Tuesday 17 February 2009

Scarlett Johansson, celebrity news, Marie Claire

Scarlett Johansson is reportedly lined up to replace Emily Blunt as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2 – even though she hasn’t officially stepped out of the role yet.

Emily is experiencing schedule problems – shooting for the upcoming Gulliver’s Travels with Jack Black conflicts with Iron Man 2 filming – so studio bosses are awaiting news on whether she can still continue with the role.

Emily! She is a brilliant actress!

Ugh! Neither of them! Iron Man was a terrible film, and I can only assume that the sequel will be just as awful. Why either of these talented actresses would agree to have their name attached to such a soulless, mindless film is beyond me.
