Nicolette Sheridan quits Desperate Housewives

Nicolette Sheridan has confirmed that she is leaving Desperate Housewives.
'She had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project,' her spokeperson commented.
The actress has played the minxy Edie Britt since Desperate Housewives started back in 2004, but is moving onto pastures new following her five-year stint on the hit show.
Her final episode is due to air in April, but there's no word yet on how Edie will make her grand exit.
It's the end of an era!
