Lily Allen: My fame is snowballing

Lily Allen was one busy lady yesterday: not only did she tell Lorraine Kelly on GMTV she thought she was ‘over-exposed’, she also found time to go sledging in Primrose Hill.

Lily hit the chat show circuit to promote her new album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, and told Lorraine Kelly she felt ‘over-exposed’ while simultaneously giggling at a tabloid pic of her bum-flashing antics at GAY this weekend.

She claimed: ‘I don’t need publicity. It’s difficult as you want people to appreciate you for your music.

‘People get confused and think you’re a celebrity and that’s quite hard for me.

She added: ‘People can be quite cynical. I feel I’m over-exposed.’

The singer – currently sitting pretty at the top of the charts with her new single The Fear – went on to tell This Morning’s Fern Britton that she felt ‘ a bit wobbly’ about celebrity culture.

But the star also found time for some fun in the snow, as she later hit Primrose Hill for a spot of sledging, snowman-building, and snowball-throwing (at the nosy paparazzi).

The star's snow style may have looked good - but she's still wearing that fox fur hat, which will no doubt have PeTA up in arms.

Keep chanting this style mantra, Lily: faux fur is de rigueur.

Meanwhile, Lily will also find time to be the guest host in this week’s Sunday Night Project on Channel 4.

she is revolting, not only is she talentless but she is the ugliest person inside and out. Do people really like her music, I must be hearing something completely different from the majority of the population...number 1 what is the world coming to.
