Madonna has temporarily won the right to move her two sons with Guy Ritchie to New York.

A London judge granted the superstar temporary permission to take Rocco, 8, and David, 3, to reside with her in New York.

And, according to the Evening Standard, the move is likely to be made permanent in the next 14 days.

A source told the paper: ‘Everything is going to be resolved in the next couple of weeks.

‘Everything is going well. It's pretty amicable at the moment. Things are progressing.’

Madge’s lawyers reportedly argued that Rocco and adopted David Banda should not be separated from 12-year-old half sister Lourdes, Madonna’s daughter with fitness instructor Carlos Leon.

Sherlock Holmes director Ritchie is said to be ‘gutted, but resigned’ to the ruling.

A friend told The Sun: ‘Guy will still see his sons all the time. He said, “It doesn’t matter where they live - they will always have the hearts and souls of Englishmen.”’

Both Guy and Madonna were this weekend seen taking all the children to the Kabbalah Center in New York.

The former couple announced their separation in October last year after nine years of marriage.
