Showing off her super-sleek physique, Renée wowed waiting fans in a berry red asymmetric dress with embroidered detailing down either side.

Gone was the unflattering cropped boy cut that Renée found so difficult to style, and in its place, the latest red carpet hairstyle, the up-do, seen in abundance at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Promoting her latest rom-com, New in Town, in which she plays a Miami businesswoman, Zellweger took Letterman’s usual flirty interviewing style with a pinch of salt.

Our only criticism Renée? You’re wearing a near-identical dress to the one you wore for your last appearance on the show in 2008… have a word with the stylist, lady!
