Kylie to present Brit Awards

Kylie Minogue has been announced as the host of this year’s Brit Awards, alongside Gavin and Stacey stars James Corden and Matthew Horne.
The stellar line-up for the bash – which takes place at Earls Court on 18 February – includes Kings of Leon, Duffy, Coldplay, Girls Aloud and U2.
Chairman of the Brits Committee, Ged Doherty, said the confirmed acts already makes the show a ‘must-see event’.
Nominations for the awards will be announced by Fearne Cotton tomorrow at the Round House in Camden.
Among the acts tipped for success are Coldplay, whose fourth studio album Viva La Diva or Death and All His Friends, was released in 2008.
The Pet Shop Boys are already set to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music gong.
The big winners of last year were Take That, who scooped Best Live Act and Best British Single.
And the red carpet winners were undoubtedly Girls Aloud, who stole the limelight in a series of striking, vivid minidresses.
