NEW LOOK: Hathaway’s a vamp at Palm Springs Awards

Anne Hathaway stole everyone else’s thunder at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards – by revealing a super-sexy new image in a figure-hugging LBD.

The Rachel Getting Married star has recently had something of a makeover, and made her biggest splash so far in a corseted Balmain spring 2009 dress at the Palm Springs event.

Dazzling Cartier jewels and peep-toe Christian Louboutins completed her glamorous look.

The gorgeous actress proved she’s not just a pretty face as she also accepted a Desert Palm Achievement Award, along with actor Sean Penn.

Other honorees included many who are considered strong Oscar contenders, such as The Changeling director Clint Eastwood, who took home the Career Achievement Award.

Leonardo DiCaprio was also on-hand to pick up an Ensemble Performance Award for Revolutionary Road, for which he’s a nominee at Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony.
