Jennifer Garner has baby girl

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are the proud new parents of a bouncing baby girl.

The A-list actress gave birth on Tuesday in Los Angeles; her rep told People magazine: ‘Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl.’

The Gone, Baby, Gone star and Jen, both 36, already have a three-year-old daughter, Violet.

The Kingdom actress appeared to be relaxed about pregnancy the second time round, spending time at home picking Violet up from nursery, and grabbing decaf coffees with friends in Santa Monica.

Her friend and former Alias co-star, Victor Garber, insists Garner won’t struggle with her new addition.

‘It's her second child,’ she told People. ‘She knows what to do. She's probably the best mother I've ever witnessed.’
