Rebecca Romijn welcomes twin girls

Ugly Betty actress Rebecca Romijn and her actor husband Jerry O’Connell are the proud new parents of twin girls.

Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip were born on 28 December.

Romijn’s rep, Lewis Kay, told People magazine: ‘Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well.’

The new ‘hands-on’ mum – whose pregnancy cravings included lemonade and soy cream cheese – says she’ll be taking a long maternity leave.

‘I'm taking quite a bit of time off,’ she said in November. ‘I really want this to be my job for at least the next six months.’

The actress, 36, and O’Connell, 34, married on a Californian ranch in 2007.
