Inside Christina birthday bash

Christina Aguilera celebrated her 28th birthday this weekend and,  in usual off-the-wall Aguilera style, the singer got all dressed up – but not in a pretty party frock.

The star opted for a strange Clockwork Orange-themed affair at the Beverly Hills SLS Hotel, and celebrated with husband Jordan Bratman and 25 close pals, including celebrities like Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

Upon her arrival in a private party van, the blonde singer headed straight to SAAM – the private dining area inside the hotel’s Bazaar Restaurant – and was greeted by Clockwork Orange-clad waiters heralding her favourite cocktail, the cotton candy mojito.

The crowd danced the night away to tunes spun by DJAM – all recovered after a recent plane crash, which killed four others – and Aguilera ended the night on a sweet note: a Clockwork Orange-style birthday cake.

The birthday girl then headed off for a romantic stay in the hotel’s presidential suite – the perfect ending to a strangely perfect party.
