Scarlett Johansson shines at LA premiere

Scarlett Johansson was undoubtedly at her beautiful best on the red carpet last night as she stole the show at the LA premiere of The Spirit.

The stunning star – who recently married actor Ryan Reynolds at a Vancouver Island retreat – recalled old-school Hollywood glamour in a sophisticated ruched white gown, which she perfectly accessorised with silver peep-toe Louboutins, radiant pink-hued make-up and soft tousled locks for a winning formula.

Co-star Eva Mendes joined her on the red carpet in an altogether more bold creation – a sunflower-yellow, strapless column dress with intricate embellishments.

The stars joined together for the premiere of action adventure movie The Spirit, a Frank Miller adaptation of a cult superhero novel, which follows the story of a dead cop brought back to life to fight evil in Central City.

The movie’s scheduled for release on 1 January.
