Nicole Kidman quits acting

Nicole Kidman has revealed her future in film is uncertain after her most prized role to date – that of a mother – has taken precedence over movie-making.

The flame-haired actress says she’ll now be concentrating on having more children with husband Keith Urban - and won’t be preoccupied with what big-screen role she’ll tackle next.

In a recent interview she admitted: 'I have to say I'm not that interested in making films anymore'.

'I know I'm not meant to say that, but that's where it is for me now. I'm in a place in my life where I've had some great opportunities. And I may just choose to have some more children.

'I'm 41 years old and very happy being in Tennessee with my baby and with my husband.

The actress, who currently stars in new flick Australia alongside fellow Aussi Hugh Jackman, added: 'I obviously have creative blood in me and it needs to come out in some way but I just don't have that burning desire any more.

'In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don't know.’
