Jennifer Aniston gave famous TV host David Letterman an early Christmas present he won't forget – the necktie from her provocative GQ cover.

The actress was in a playful mood for her appearance on the American chat show, on which she was promoting her new film, Marley & Me.

After handing over the gift-wrapped tie, which she wore to cover her modesty in the photo shoot, Letterman proceeded to try it on - with a little helping hand from Jen.

'Oh this is exciting - I'm dressing Dave! That's a historic moment in my career,' she joked.
