Suri set to act?
By Ruth Doherty on Wednesday 17 December 2008
Tom Cruise has revealed he'd be delighted if super-cute little Suri becomes an actress when she grows up.
The A-list star spoke to US magazine at the NY premiere of his new movie Valkyrie, saying: 'I'd love it. I'd love it. Acting is... a great life to get to entertain people and create characters and stories.'
And Suri sure knows how to work the cameras already – she's often seen regally waving to paparazzi as she strolls around the streets of NY with mum Katie Holmes.
Not only that, she's also got film set etiquette down pat. Cruise said he was impressed with his daughter's behaviour while he shot Valkyrie, revealing: 'It's amazing how quickly she adapted to set. To know to be quiet when I'm shooting... I mean, Suri was great on the set.'
Tom also revealed that the little star-in-the-making has already got spot-on vocabulary. He gushed: 'Her vocabulary is great. The ones that we love are, "I love you." I love hearing "I love you, dada. I love you, mama."'
Cruise says that all his children (he also has two adopted kids, Connor, 15, and Isabella, 13, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman) are being raised how he wanted to be. 'They have the life that I wanted,' he said. 'I always wanted to travel the world, to be developed by different cultures, learn about their history.
'So that's how I raised my kids - that they have full exposure to the world and all different kinds of ideas and philosophies so that they can make choices for themselves. I support them in whatever choices they want to make.'

Imagine that without his money. Of course he can do much more than us other beings for his children. Let's hope they grow up appreciating the value of working for what they can achieve themselves.
