Madonna’s ex on her divorce

Madonna’s ex, and the father of her daughter Lourdes, has opened up about her divorce from Guy Ritchie, calling it a ‘bad situation’.

The Material Girl’s former dancer, who lives in New York, told Hello! magazine: ‘It is a bad situation for both Guy and Madonna and I send them a lot of love and all the children involved. I think it is too early to say if the divorce will make things better or worse for the family.’

And if it’s not bad enough having your ex comment on your current love life, Madge is sure to be peeved about Leon’s statement that he prefers Guy’s movies to hers. He called Guy ‘a gent’ who always treated him with respect, adding: ‘Of the film work of the two, I like Ritchie better. He is incredibly talented as a director and producer and he inspires me.’

Ouch. But, to be fair, we see where he’s coming from.

Carlos also went on to reveal that Lourdes may follow in her mother’s footsteps, and turn her hand to a singing or acting career.

He revealed: ‘I speak to her every day. She is very talented, she gets that from her mum. She has had advantages I never had. But it is up to her to take it to a new level in singing or acting.’
