Gwyneth mum defends her marriage

Gwyneth Paltrow's mother, actress Blythe Danner, has stepped forward to defend her daughter's marriage.

Although gossip surrounding Paltrow and Chris Martin's marriage has been swirling for months, with the couple appearing to spend more time in separate countries than together, Danner stated that the two are fine.

Speaking to Fox News, she explained, 'They don’t take pictures together if they can avoid it. It's a strategy. They don't want the pandemonium.'

Elaborating she even went on to describe the couple's holiday plans, 'They’re staying in England for the new year. Then coming here.'

With Martin up for multiple Grammy awards in February, the industry is already abuzz with rumours that his wife will join him on the red carpet.

With the world's press at the waiting, we somehow doubt it!
