X Factor's Alexandra gets man ban from Cheryl Cole

X Factor winner Alexandra has revealed that her mentor, Cheryl Cole, has given her one piece of advice: keep away from men!

Speaking yesterday to The Sun, the singer divulged that the Girl Aloud star had urged her to keep away from the boys, and instead focus on her career.

'Cheryl told me to keep away from men,' Alexandra revealed, 'She wants me to concentrate on music without any distractions.'

Heeding her mentor's advice, the singing star added, 'There will be no romance – I’m all about the music.'

Fresh from her win, she gushed as she spoke of Mrs Cole, telling the paper, 'She's proud of me and I'm proud of her being my friend. She is an inspiration to me – she's a young woman who's gone through the same situation I’m in.'

The product of a reality TV show herself, Cheryl found fame when she won her place in Girls Aloud through Pop Idol.

Following her win on Saturday night, Alexandra has been tipped to bag the Christmas number one, with her first single, Hallelujah.
