Jennifer Aniston has spoken out about her decision to be photographed nude for the American edition of GQ magazine.

After setting pulses racing across the world by posing with nothing but a red, white and blue tie wrapped around her neck, the 39-year-old actress has defended her sizzling photoshoot.

'I wasn't trying to make any statement,' she said at last week's LA premiere of Aniston's latest movie Marley and Me.

Although, on-off boyfriend John Mayer did not walk the red carpet with Miss Aniston, one reporter managed to quiz him about the revealing cover picture, to which he responded: 'I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here… I should just pack up the Toyota and head out of town, I'm just gonna get ready to put my knuckles in the air for it.'

Mayer turned nauseatingly cheesy when probed further and asked to hold the magazine itself saying: 'No, don't make me hold it – you're pimping me out! Because when I touch it, angels die.'

The ex-Friends star confirmed in the interview accompanying the shoot that, contrary to worldwide reports, she is not pregnant, insisting: 'I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question.'

She is 40 yrs old and still has not grown up enough to know that it is what is on the inside that counts.

So she's in her 40's....she looks fantastic!!!! Well done Jen, takes a lot of courage to pose like that. I don't see people complaining when Gok Wan gets middle aged women to take their clothes off!!!!

I think she looks great and I think she knows
exactly what is on the inside counts. She
has always had friends and she seems quite
happy. She isn't pretending to be something
she isn't. She isn't the only one to pose
nude on a cover. Half of Hollywood has. She
enjoys her co-workers, gives them equal credit
and actually seems pretty down to earth.

Please, she looks good! Enjoy it! Why be jealous it wastes time. She'll bring a lot of pleasure to so many, why be a spoilsport and ruin it. So she's 39, what does that have to do with it?

We all know well enough that its a race between Ange and Jen and unless they both stop showing off it will never end. How silly. That smile is the worst from whole photo. I wish she kept out of it as she did when they split. We all know it hurts but we also know it happens! J. Mayer is a teenager and makes it all even more obvious. At least she was not hospitalized yet...
