Britney's tour stage act details revealed

Britney Spears on Good Morning America

Britney's on-stage theatricals for her forthcoming Circus tour will mirror the popstrel's breakdown and renaissance back into the showbiz world.

Like a serious case of cathartic counselling, Britney's new stage show will begin with a revelatory storytelling of her manic meltdown as she is carted off to the circus and then in a three-act spectacular, the audience will witness her meteoric rise through a spectacular thunderstorm to appear in a beautiful rainbow.

A tour insider told the Sun: 'The first act sees the miserable star run away to join the circus. This mirrors her slide into unhinged behaviour.

'Her disturbing antics while suffering her meltdown are the focus of the second act, which takes place in the circus.'

They added: 'Brit is seen having fun in this crazy world and falling in love with a circus freak.

'The final act focuses on Britney’s salvation. She manages to prize herself away from the clutches of the circus to be reunited with her friends and family.'

The popstrel's UK tour dates begin in June with an eight-night stint at the O2 arena. Fans can enjoy fabulous costume designs from David and Phillippe Blonde, who designed the metallic corset on the inside of her Circus album.

Another tour promoter revealed: 'They will only be designing for Britney's tour outfits and not any of her dancers. They are super excited about this project.'
