Jennifer Aniston has shaken off her girl-next-door image in one fell swoop by appearing in a see-through wet top for a sexy new calendar.

The butter-wouldn't-melt actress is clearly fed up of her sugary-sweet persona and decided flashing a little flesh is the best way to lose her America's sweetheart image.

Posing under a waterfall, the ex-Friends actress leaves little to the imagination in a racy wet T-shirt look. Further images show Aniston in a flowing black dress, draped across a table and chair.

The pictures have made waves Stateside where Aniston's safe style choices, wearing denim and white T-shirts, are the norm.

In the same week as her raunchy revamp, the 39-year-old spoke to US tabloid Entertainment Weekly about her recent interview with American Vogue. Aniston was quoted as saying that Angelina's comments about her children watching her and Brad fall in love during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith was 'so not cool'.

Aniston's response to her quotes? 'I was just surprised that Vogue would go so tabloid,' says the star who believes the comments were taken out of context. 'I was bummed. But you almost expect it. Big deal. Done. Next.'

The sexy new pictures of Aniston should dispel any rumours surfacing of a baby Aniston arrival with on-off boyfriend John Mayer.

When quizzed on the subject, Aniston rebuffed the proposal as ridiculous. 'Oh my God, it's hysterical,' she says. 'It's almost going to take away the fun from actually being able to say one day, "I'm pregnant!"'

She added: 'Stop stealing my thunder, motherf**ckers!'

Despite laying pregnancy rumours to rest, the actress still admitted that motherhood is something she hopes for: 'I'm on the verge of it in some way - or it's something I long for.'
