Will Aidan return for Sex and the City sequel?

John Corbett, aka Aidan Shaw, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s other long-term boyfriend in Sex and the City is keen to get in on the action for the movie’s sequel and would love to prize his on-screen love from the hands of Mr Big.

Shaw hopes to reprise his role in the hit show for next year’s sequel and we certainly wouldn’t argue with the proposal either! For all those girls who saw preying Mr Big as bad news and fell in love with the rugged, DIY-handy, soft-centred man that was Aidan, you may yet ogle over his mild-mannered, handsome ways, if movie bosses see fit to create another love triangle for Carrie. After all, surely it can't end happily ever after for the eternal NYC singleton?

Shaw confessed: ‘I’d relish that moment more than you can ever imagine. There may even be a murder involved. It's payback. I think Mr Big deserves it. It'd make a great ending to the movie.’

We concur, Mr Shaw. Sighs all round for the return of Aidan... ahhh.

I'd love to see Aidan back, but if they kill someone off,that'd be it for me. It's a great show/movie, with great characters, so don't screw it up!

I dont care what the execs would have to do to bring Aidan back I would love to see Carrie finally go back to Aidan. During the first two seasons I hoped Carrie and Big would make it but as soon as Aidan came into the picture it was CURTAINS for Big. I'll dress up in red ruby shoes and click until my feet fall off to make it happen.

It has to be Aidan in the sequel. Wow! who just wouldn't want to watch Big and Aidan battle it out again? Please SATC Execs - bring back John ....
