Scarlett wants to be a young mum

A-list actress Scarlett Johansson and new husband Ryan Reynolds are said to be desperate to start a family as soon as possible.

The couple only married two months ago in September, but are reportedly already planning the best time for Scarlett to conceive.

The Other Boleyn Girl star, 23, is apparently keen to be a young mum to avoid fears over her fertility.

'Scarlett and Ryan are madly in love and want to start a family sooner rather than later,' a source told the Chicago Sun Times.

'Scarlett is keen to be a young mom and does not plan to be the sort of women who leaves motherhood too late and starts worrying about her biological clock ticking.'

The couple married in a simple ceremony in a remote resort near Vancouver in Canada in September.

Scarlett has just finished working on her latest film – He's Not That Into You – but is not due to begin her next movie, Amazon, until next year.

The gap in her schedule has prompted speculation that the loved-up newly weds are trying to start a family in the next few months.

But if Scarlett cannot fit getting pregnant around her work, the couple are also rumoured to be thinking of adopting a child from an inner city in the US.
