Britney Spears says her life is now so controlled it feels as though she's living in prison.

The 26-year-old singer had a very public breakdown in February this year, which led to her father, Jamie Spears, taking charge of all her affairs.

But in a revealing documentary, Britney says she has no freedom and her daily life is 'like Groundhog Day'.

'There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail, y'know, there’s the time when you’re gonna get out,' she says.

'But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.'

Britney also says she's being made to 'pay' for her breakdown.

She says, 'I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening.

'If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time.'

The Toxic singer finally makes a plea for her father to give her more freedom.

'I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I've learnt my lesson now and enough is enough.'

The documentary, Britney: For the Record, is due to be shown on Sky at the beginning of December.

No doubt she is a prisoner!
If her parents gave her enough love and support when she was growing up she would not be still searching for it! They are the ones who are only after her money. That explains stupid book written b her mother to get some more attention and more money. Britney might have done some stupid things but if you look on it from a distance its all clear. They are the ones who failed her.
