Lindsay hit by flour bomb
Lindsay Lohan was attacked with flour by an angry PeTA protestor on the red carpet, when it appeared the actress was wearing fur.
A member of People for the Ethical Treatment Animals, threw the flour bomb over Lindsay as she arrived at the VIP Room Theatre in Paris on Saturday night.
The Mean Girls star, 22, was targeted because she appeared to be wearing a fur stole over her blue sequinned dress.
PeTA Europe issued this statement after the attack: ‘There is nothing remotely 'fashionable' about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.’
The nightclub owner helped Lindsay dust herself down before she went into the club to watch girlfriend Samantha Ronson DJ.
But Sam, 30, wasn’t so happy to let the matter slide. She later took to her MySpace blog and savaged the animal rights group.
‘The girl who threw [the flour] acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilised than that person,’ she wrote.
‘PETA should focus their efforts on educating people on what they believe are injustices instead of seeking press via harassing those in the limelight.’
Lindsay’s a lucky lady to have someone like Sam fighting her corner.

Sam may be defending her but how would she feel if it was her pet dog skinned for its fur?
Lindsey is just a very self centered person.

I agree with Samantha, they should spend more time educating, not acting like children. I would never support a group who thrives on assaulting people. Whatever people wear is a matter of choice. Do these actavists make sure that nobody is hard done by when they buy their clothing. Do they double check that there are not poor asian children chained to a production line sewing till their fingers bleed, I bet they don't. Arrest them and charge them with assault.

Sometimes when a person is so ignorant that they would wear fur, the only thing to stop them in their tracks and make them think twice about wearing it again is to throw some flour or paint at them. These people are so self-centred that embarrasment is the only thing they respond to.
